This is the iconic, patented, IRON APE Half Taper powerlifting belt. There is no belt like it. Comfortable, strong, powerful.

• SOLID CONSTRUCTION: The IRON APE Half Taper belt is Patented and exclusively available from IRON APE. Made of genuine leather with a soft suede inner lining for additional grip and comfort. Steel buckle, roller and rivet system. Our belts are 13mm thick all around, offering the thick, solid base to brace against that all professional strength athletes rely upon for the heaviest lifts. USPA approved. Meets IPF standards. This belt is not yet IPF approved but is IPF compliant.
  
  
• COMFORT: As with all pro belts, the Half Taper is 4” width at the rear and front for maximum bracing effect. The belt width drops to 3” at the sides for clearance for the ribs and hip joint, making this the most comfortable 13mm belt on the market. Virtually eliminates the chafing of a normal 4" belt and reduces breathing constriction. Get a deeper squat. Get into position more easily for deadlifts, squats, axle presses and most other strength training activities. Pre-broken in.
  
  
• SINGLE PRONG: We use a single prong on this belt for maximum ease of use and flexible adjustability. Single prong belts are just as secure as double prong and are easier to use. No hassle of adjusting the second prong when pulling the belt really tight for heavy lifts.
